Vilma Software Hal - Little-Endian format

The Little-Endian format

In little-endian format, a multi-byte value is stored in memory from the lowest  byte (the "little end") to the highest byte. For example, the value 0x12345678 is stored as

Byte 0 Byte 1 Byte 2 Byte 3
0x78 0x56 0x34 0x12

in little-endian format. By default Windows operating systems uses this format to store the data. Be careful while you search for values in a Windows partitions.
